Wednesday Morning Bible Study – Oct-Nov 2020
The Gospel of John includes several collections of the sayings of Jesus that are not found in the other three gospels. Some of these sayings are said to be from his public teaching but the audience for most of them consists exclusively of his inner circle of disciples.
As we revisit these familiar passages, we will be asking what they tell us about ourselves and what they reveal about Jesus of Nazareth. We will also consider the ways in which these sayings differ from those found in the other gospel narratives.
We invite you to join us on Wednesday mornings as we meet in the parish hall from 10:30am to 12n. We will all be wearing protective masks and observing appropriate distancing.
