Wednesday Morning Bible Study – Epiphany 2018

“Lessons in Living from the Book of Ruth”

Most of the important people in the Hebrew Scriptures are men.  An interesting exception to this is David’s grandmother, Ruth.  She is portrayed as a courageous and resourceful woman who perseveres in overcoming personal tragedy.  In many ways Ruth offers us a model of how to live a faithful life.  From a literary perspective, the story of Ruth is one of the best written narratives in all of scripture.

During the Epiphany season, we will be reading and reflecting on this amazing story.  Please join us for an hour of lively discussion and fellowship. All Saint’s Bible Study group meets in the library on Wednesday mornings at 10:30.
