Musician:
Jessica Weidman is a classically trained Lyric Soprano with a four-octave range. Her beautiful voice, warm and witty personality, and rare ability to sing “crossover” concerts keep her in constant demand here and abroad. She performs Opera, Broadway, Classical, Gospel and Spirituals, and with this repertoire, she always has something to please everyone.
Over the past 15 years, Jessica has been a featured soloist with various symphonies, at numerous conventions, and many religious gatherings here in the States and abroad. She is widely known for her “singing missions” in Scotland, Ireland and France. Jessica was guest soloist with Movement Laboratory in a theatrical tour of Paris and Nice, France, as a music ambassador to the United Nations. Her numerous concert tours in Scotland have been used as fund raisers for local hospices, missions in Africa, international first responders and repairs of local churches. In the past, several of the concerts were held at the Royal Concert Hall of Glasgow Scotland and the precedes that totaled over $200,000, have helped to build a new wing on the Children’s Hospice there. In the summer of 2017 she completed an 8 event concert tour of Scotland and Ireland for The Little Sisters of The Poor and a Gospel Concert as a guest soloist with the Springfield Cambridge Choir. This tour brought in over $8,000 for various charities.
Jessica is also a member and a principle soloist with the Lebanon Community Concert Band of Lebanon, PA. This band is known for it’s charity work throughout Lebanon County and for it’s annual Patriot Day Concert held every year on September 11 to commutate the works of our First Responders, active military and our Veterans.
This fall, Jessica will be returning to Scotland and Ireland for a 7-event concert tour that will again help to fund the works of The Little Sisters of The Poor, a Catholic charity that benefits impoverished elderly and the physically disabled throughout the world.
Jessica has recorded several CD’s, “My Soul Waits for The Lord” (an anthology of 13 spiritual songs), and “Unforgettable” (a collection of 11 nostalgic songs). Both can be purchased through CD-Baby or downloaded through Itunes and Spotify. You can hear her recordings on Pandora Internet Radio.
