Dee Mikita & Judy Ellis:
Both Dee Mikita and Judy Ellis have been involved in music since childhood.  They have been making music as a duo for the past year. The music they play is a variety of American and European folk tunes, Celtic music and hymns.
Judy began playing the hammered dulcimer in 1996. She studied and played the piano and acoustic guitar through her childhood and youth.  With the dulcimer, she has been a part of the several small bands (the Frosties and Susquehanna String Theory.) Judy has also completed the Music for Healing and Transition certification program, preparing the musician to play at bedside in healthcare situations.
Dee is a classically trained pianist, who has introduced music to young people of all ages in the classroom as well as privately for over three decades.  She has also been playing the acoustic guitar since 2006, and occasionally “noodles” on the ukulele.  Dee has participated in a variety of regional and  local acoustic ensembles, and is one of the service musicians here at All Saints.
